Ingredients

  • 3 medium grated carrots

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of oil

  • 2 cups of sugar

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a baking form with butter and flour.
  • In a blender, beat the carrots, eggs and oil until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, mix the sugar and wheat flour.
  • Add the liquid mixture to the bowl with the sugar and flour mixture, mixing well until smooth.
  • Add the baking powder and mix gently.
  • Pour the dough into the greased tin and bake for about 40 minutes or until the cake is baked (do the toothpick test).
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
