Gather the ingredients of this carrot puree and surprise everyone with a tasty and practical dish!
4 large carrots
- Line the bottom of a pan with olive oil to taste and place over medium heat.
Chop the onion and add to the pan.
Mix and let it brown.
- Add the chopped carrots and mix well.
Add chimichurri, turmeric and salt to taste, as well as other seasonings of your choice.
Mix well and add water.
- Cover the pan (not completely; leave an opening) and cook until the carrots are tender, leaving just a little broth to blend in the blender.
- Beat the cooked carrots in a blender (or with a mixer) until the mixture is homogeneous and the carrot puree can be served for consumption.
