The marketing campaign of Karate Kid: Legends This day continues with the first Character Posters centered on the three main pieces of this new installment of the franchise Karate Kid of Sony Pictures.
The sequel joins the worlds of “Miyagiverse” with the returns of Jackie Chan y Ralph Macchio as Mr. Han and Daniel Larusso, respectively. Mr. Han, from the 2010 REBOOT will go to Daniel for help to train the young Li Yong, played by Ben Wang (American Born Chinese).
The Character Posters focus precisely on Chan, Macchio and Wang, Shifu, Sensei and student, respectively. Sony shared posters are available at the end of the note.
The new installment will take history to the east coast and focus on a teenager from China (Wang) who finds strength and direction through martial arts and a hard but wise mentor (or two).

The project was originally announced in September 2022, while Macchio and Chan's participation was revealed in 2023. In the case of Wang, a global casting for the role as Li Fong was conducted, which was won by the young man in February of this year.
