Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk (395g)

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

  • A bit of salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. 
    Grease and flour a cake tin measuring approximately 22 cm in diameter.
  • In a bowl, mix the condensed milk, eggs, oil and milk. 
    You can add vanilla essence at this point if desired. 
    Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  • Sift the wheat flour and baking powder over the liquid mixture and add a pinch of salt. 
    Stir until the dough is completely incorporated and there are no more lumps.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before unmolding. 
    Then let it cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Optionally, you can sprinkle icing sugar over the top of the cake before serving.
