For your cornmeal bread to be perfect, use the ingredients on the list and follow the instructions in the preparation method.


  • 2 cup all-purpose flour (280g)

  • 2 cup cornmeal (280g)

  • 1 cup of sugar (200g)

  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

  • 3 eggs (140g)

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • ½ teaspoon of fennel (to taste)


  • In a bowl, add 2 cup of all-purpose flour (280g);
  • Add 2 cup cornmeal (280g);
  • Add 1 cup of sugar (200g);
  • Add 1 tablespoon of baking powder;
  • Add 1 pinch of salt;
  • Mix;
  • Add ½ of fennel tea (to taste);
  • Mix;
  • Make a space in the middle and add 3 eggs;
  • Add 2 tablespoons of butter;
  • Mix well (add water little by little to get a point);
  • In a greased and infarinhada shape, add the breads;
  • You can add guava on top (optional);
  • Brush beaten yolk;
  • Add a little granulated sugar;
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 50 minutes;
