Creed IIIthird installment of the franchise Creedand ninth installment of the saga Rocky In all, it prepares us for its theatrical release scheduled for March 3, 2023revealing the first official glimpses of the protagonist, Michael B. Jordan retaking his leading role as Adonis Creed, already Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country, Avengers: The Kang Dinasty) as Anderson Dame, apparently a new opponent of Adonis Creed.
Jordan is also taking the reins as director of any project for the first time.

Jordan stars, directs and produces the film launched in 2021 in MGMwhile Tessa Thompson y Phylicia Rashad they reprise their roles as Bianca and Mary Anne Creed, respectively. Another addition to the cast, in addition to Majors, is the Mexican boxer Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarezannounced by Jordan in the middle of last September.
- EYE TO THE DATA: Canelo isn’t the first boxer to play an on-screen role in the franchise. Creed. Former Cruiserweight Champion Tony Bellew starred in the first installment of the series, portraying ‘Pretty’ Ricky Conlan, the main antagonist and opponent of Jordan’s character. In the sequel Creed II, the Romanian boxer ‘Big Nasty’ Florian Munteanuplayed the antagonist Viktor Drago, son of Ivan Drago from the saga Rocky.
- Creed III will mark Canelo’s debut as an actor.
Creed III It will be the first film in the saga. Rocky sin Sylvester Stallone. Creed II it concluded with Adonis making peace with his father Apollo’s legacy, and Rocky traveling to Vancouver to do the same with his long-estranged son and to meet his grandson.
