Instead of buying the industrialized version, try this delicious homemade Danette!

Ingredients

  • 1 liter of milk

  • 1 box of condensed milk (395 grams)

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

  • 8 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch

Directions

  • In a blender add the milk, cornstarch, chocolate powder, sugar, butter or margarine and beat well. 
    Add the condensed milk and beat again. 
    Transfer to a saucepan and stir constantly over medium heat until thickened.
  • Transfer the mixture to a container and cover with cling film in contact with the surface. 
    Let it cool at room temperature and then put it in the freezer for 30 minutes. 
    Beat with a hand mixer or hand mixer until creamy and the homemade Danette is ready.
