Emma Anderson «I Was Miles Away» – it's been a long time since anyone heard from Lush's Emma Anderson. After the brief Lush reunion a few years ago, she obviously worked on solo material, which she recorded with the help of James Chapman (of Maps). The result is a wonderful album called “Pearlies”, which is of course reminiscent of their main band, but also triggers Broadcast or Goldfrapp as reference points due to its more electronic orientation. A nice surprise!
Adé “I’m leaving” – by chance I came across the young French singer Adé, who released a very successful debut album in France last year and is now adding a few bonus tracks. Great Pop!
