With a teaser official trailer, Focus features starts the marketing campaign of Bugoniathe science fiction comedy of Yorgos Lanthimoswhich marks its most recent collaboration with its protagonist, Emma Stone.
The actress has starred in three other feature films of the filmmaker, Poor Things, The Favouritey Kinds of Kidness. Stone won one of his two Oscar for the best actress, for Poor Things.
The plot of Bugonia It focuses on two friends obsessed with the conspiracies that kidnap the influential executive director of an important corporation because they are convinced that it is an alien that aims to destroy the earth.
Bugonia It is the English speech remake of the 2003 South Korean comedy, Save the Green Planet!, of original title Jigureul Jikyeora!
In addition to Stone, Jesse Plemons (Civil War, Kinds of Kindness) Star the movie next to Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias (Tires, Let’s Start a Cult), Parvinder Shergilly Alicia Silverstone (Y2K, Reptile).
Lanthimos directs the film from the script written by Will Tracy (The Regime, The Menu, Succession).

Focus features plans the premiere of Boguony For October 24, 2025 under limited premiere, followed by a broad premiere on October 31.
In Mexico and other Latin American territory, it will be distributed through Universal Pictures.
