The film starring and produced by Tessa Thompson (Creed, Passing, Westworld) will premiere globally in prime video on October 29, 2025.

Dacosta is the screenwriter and director of Hedda.

The feature film marks the third collaboration between Dacosta and Thompson, after the actress was put under the orders of the filmmaker in The Marvels y Little Woods. Dacosta also directed Candyman In 2021.

This will be Dacosta's first visit to TIFF.
