The marketing campaign for the new sequel to the saga Ghostbusters –the fifth of the franchise– titled Ghostbusters: Frozen Empirewhich works as a direct sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlifecontinues with the launch of its first official poster

The new installment takes the Spengler family back to where it all began: the iconic New York City fire station, to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who have developed a top-secret research laboratory to conduct the hunt for ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

And it's not that its setting takes place during the winter, but that a deadly ice storm hits New York City in the summer. In the trailer it is narrated: “For the first time in New York history, people froze to death in mid-July.”

Frozen Empire features the return of the original stars, Dan Aykroyd Like Ray Stantz, Bill Murray like Peter Venkman, Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore and Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz.
