Here’s a basic fruit salad recipe, but you can customize it to your favorite fruits and add additional ingredients, like yogurt, honey, or mint leaves, for a special touch.

Your Fruit Salad will be delicious if you follow the step-by-step using the fruits you like the most!

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 apple

  • 1 orange

  • 1 cup grapes (can be green grapes, red grapes or a combination)

  • 1 cup of strawberries

  • 1 kiwi

  • Other fruits of your choice, such as peach, mango, pineapple, etc.

Directions

  • Peel the bananas and cut them into slices. 
    Place them in a large bowl.
  • Wash the apple and cut it into small cubes, removing the seeds and core. 
    Add to bowl.
  • Peel the orange, remove the segments and cut them into smaller pieces. 
    Be sure to remove any seeds that may be present. 
    Add to bowl.
  • Wash the grapes and, if they are large, cut them in half. 
    Add to bowl.
  • Wash the strawberries, remove the stalks and cut them into slices or smaller pieces. 
    Add to the other fruits.
  • Peel the kiwi and cut it into slices or pieces. 
    Add to bowl.
  • If using other fruits, prepare them in the same way and add them to the bowl.
  • Gently mix all the fruits in the bowl so that they are evenly distributed.
  • Serve the fruit salad right away as a dessert, breakfast or healthy snack. 
    If you wish, you can add a touch of flavor with a little fresh lemon juice or lemon zest.
