Hard to resist a dessert as easy and delicious as gelatin mousse!


  • 200 grams of strawberries

  • 1/2 cup of ice water (120ml)

  • 1/2 cup (120ml) hot water

  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

  • 1 box of strawberry flavored gelatin

  • 1 can of condensed milk (395 grams)

  • 2 boxes of sour cream (400 grams)

  • Chocolate shavings and strawberries for garnish (optional)


  • Wash the strawberries, remove the stems and chop the fruit. 
    Transfer them to a pan, add the sugar and place over medium heat. 
    Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil and turn off the heat. 
    Reserve and let cool.
  • In a container add hot water, strawberry gelatin and mix until dissolved. 
    Add the ice water and stir more. 
    Transfer half of the strawberry syrup, the prepared gelatin, the condensed milk and the cream to the blender. 
    Beat for about 2 minutes.
  • Place the other half of the strawberry syrup in a container of your choice, then the mousse mixture and mix very well with a spoon. 
    Cover the dessert and leave it in the fridge for a few hours.
  • After the dessert is very firm and consistent, remove it from the fridge. 
    Decorate with chocolate and strawberry shavings to taste and the mousse is ready for consumption.
