Grey’s Anatomy and ABC prepare audiences for the return of the veteran medical drama, releasing a teaser trailer with a look at season 20.

In the minute-long trailer, we see the return of Ellen Pompeo as Dr. Meredith Graywho in the middle of season 19 reduced his participation in the iconic series to a guest star role from then on, to allow himself to work on the Hulu limited series, Orphan. The story appropriately moved her to Boston in order to shorten her time on screen.

Meredith will apparently be making visits to Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital in the upcoming episodes.

The trailer starts with Meredith asking Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), “How long should I wait?”, although the reason for the wait is not specified. Later, Bailey tells Meredith that the inmates, “are in trouble.” We also get a quick look at disastrous situations in which the inmates are involved. We also see the return of Scott Speedman like Dr. Nick Marsh.

Everything seems to indicate that Jo (Camilla Luddington) y Link (Chris Carmack) are together now, and Richard (James Pickens Jr.) struggles with his sobriety again. While Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) is in “critical condition,” after collapsing while performing surgery after complaining of a toothache.

Grey’s returns to the small screen (on ABC) on March 14, 2024, with a shortened season as a result of the writers' and actors' union strikes. In Mexico and the rest of Latin America it is broadcast through Sony Channel and Star+. Sony has not given specific information about the release date. At the moment it only says “coming soon 2024.” On the other hand, on Star+ it is generally released months after the end of the most current season.
