Lionsgate The official trailer for the thriller debuted Amber Alertfrom the director and co-writer Kerry Bellesaand the protagonist Hayden Panettiere (Heroes, Scream 4, Scream VI).
Panettiere co-stars in the feature film alongside Tyler James Williams (Abbot Elementary, Dear White People).
“If we don’t find him, she’ll be gone forever.” The trailer highlights the high-stakes game of cat and mouse that Jaq (Panettiere) and Shane (Tyler James Williams) embark on after attempting to follow a car that matches the description of a newly issued Amber Alert following the abduction of a seven-year-old girl.
Bellesa co-wrote the screenplay Joshua Oram.
Searching for information about both of them, we realize that in 2012 they made a film also titled Amber Alert which follows a similar plot, meaning that in 2024 They are making a remake of their own original filmonly now with a known cast and studio, which could translate into a better budget.

SYNOPSIS:
“A normal carpool turns into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse when Jaq (Panettiere) and Shane (Williams) receive a child kidnapping alert on their phones. Quickly realizing they're following a car matching the kidnapper's description, Jaq and Shane desperately race against time to save the little girl's life.”
The rest of the cast is made up of Kevin Dunn y Saidah Arrika Ekulona.
Joseph Restaino, Summer Bellesa, Tony Stopperan, Kerry Bellesa, Leal Naim are the producers.
Lionsgate releases Amber Alert In select US theaters on September 27, 2024. It debuts on VOD on the same day.
