During the early hours of Monday, new details have emerged about the unfortunate death of Hayden Panettiere on Sunday, August 16. The actress was 36 years old.
According to a statement sent to NBC News by the coroner's office, authorities from the Greenville, South Carolina Police Department, “received a 911 call reporting possible cardiac arrest at apartment complex. Police indicated that the call was made by an acquaintance of Panettiere.”

In recordings of 911 communications obtained by People, officials could be heard talking about an “overdose” and “cardiac arrest.”
