Hershey's chocolate announces biopic starring Alexandra Daddario and Finn Wittrock

One of the most famous chocolate brands worldwide prepares movie.

Hershey's prepares a movie in Live-Action formatstarring Alexandra Daddario (The White Lotus, Mayfair Witches) y Find Wittrock (Don’t Move, American Horror Story), con Mark Waters (Mean Girls, Freaky Friday) as director.

The official title is HersheyVariety announced.

The plot will address the original story of Milton and Kitty Hershey, who, when facing a tragedy, decide to leave their accumulated fortune of chocolate in the hands of children.

Wittrock will play Milton Hershey, who, along with his wife Kitty (Daddario), built an empire of sweets that promoted a philanthropic legacy. In 1909, Milton and Kitty founded the Industrial School of Hershey, which offered free education and accommodation to orphans and disadvantaged children.

Twenty years before his death, Milton transferred most of his fortune to the Milton Hershey school trust, sowing the seed of one of the country's richest educational endowments. When developing a city around its chocolate factory, the Hershey also built theaters, recreational centers and public transport for their workers.

The feature film its production will begin in Mayilvania, with a planned premiere for 2026. At the moment there is no associated distributor.

On the film project, director Mark Waters declared a press release:

Producers include Sharon Paul, Mark Tilghman, Mary Aloe, Joshua Harris and Will Hardy, with Daniel Hank, Joseph Lanius, Flip and Susan Flippen and Joanne Marlowe as executive producers.
