On August 23rd and 24th, the Leipzig Pop Fest will take place again in the Moritzbastei – a mix of music conference and festival, this year there will also be a night culture conference. Hey Hey podcast host met with two organizers for an interview.
The Leipzig Pop Fest has been around since 2021. It aims to better network and present the still relatively small regional music scene and music industry. For the first time, MiNa, the Central German Night Conference, will also take place as part of the Leipzig Pop Fest. Here, (night) culture representatives from the cities of Halle (Saale), Jena, Erfurt and Leipzig meet and talk about current developments, challenges and solutions.
On the second day there will be a musically exciting music program with live acts from the region and an after-show party by Italo Fundamentalo. For the entire program please see the Leipzig Pop Fest website.
