With simple ingredients, this homemade panettone is very easy to prepare and the result is a fluffy dough with a “I want more” flavor!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of wheat flour

  • 200 grams of candied fruit

  • 150 grams of raisins

  • 120 grams salted butter

  • 120 grams of sugar

  • 1 package of 10 grams of baking powder

  • 1 cup of water (tea)

  • 1 tablespoon of wheat flour for the fruits

  • 1 tablespoon panettone essence

  • 3 whole eggs

Directions

  • Place the eggs, sugar, baking powder, salted butter, water and panettone essence in a blender.
Cover and beat for 2 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a container and add the wheat flour little by little while mixing the ingredients well.
  • Cover the dough with plastic wrap and set aside to rise and double in volume with fermentation.
Meanwhile, add the candied fruits, raisins, a spoonful of wheat flour to a bowl and mix well.
Add the fruit to the dough and stir gently.
  • Equally distribute the dough into two panettone molds (500 grams each).
After putting all the dough, wait for it to double in volume again.
With the help of scissors, make a cut in the middle of the dough, place 1/2 spoon (dessert) of butter on top of the cuts.
  • Place the panettone in a preheated oven at 180º₢ to bake for approximately 35 minutes if you want less roasting on top, or for 45 minutes if you want them more roasted on top.
Remove the homemade panettone from the oven, wait for it to cool down and it is ready to eat.
