Jim Bob, Kim Gordon | Coast Is Clear

Jim Bob «Where’s the Panic Room?» – Long-time readers of my blog may still know that I was and am a big fan of the British punk/pop duo Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine (Carter USM). I have always followed with interest the further activities of the singer Jim Morrison aka Jim Bob, who, on the one hand, was active as a writer, but also regularly published solo albums that definitely carried the bite of the Carter stuff. Last year he even released two albums, and now he's continuing with a new EP. The eponymous single from it shows that he is still committed to social criticism, and musically things are also going well.

Kim Gordon «PLAY ME» – Of course, Kim became known worldwide as a member of Sonic Youth, but she was also often active solo. She has just released a new album “PLAY ME”, of which this was one of the singles.
