Last Tourist, Laveda | Coast Is Clear

Last Tourist «Black Raven» – it’s nice and cold outside and there’s even snow in Kiel – so the perfect backdrop for gloomy, atmospheric shoegaze/dreampop music. The quartet Last Tourist from Leeds, which has bands like Joy Division and Interpol as role models, but definitely also lets the guitar walls speak in their music, makes the start. The new album will be out in early February and four songs can be previewed on their Bandcamp page, all of which sound very promising.

Laveda “F***” – this project from Albany/NY is even more dreamy, whose new single (with video suitable for mobile phone format) sounds pretty great.
