Ingredients
240 grams of wheat flour
180ml of milk
4 tablespoons of butter
3 whole eggs
1 cup (tea) of sugar
1 tablespoon chemical baking powder
Lemon zest
1 box condensed milk
Juice of 3 lemons
Directions
- In a mixer add the butter and beat well.
Add the sugar and beat again.
Then add one egg at a time with the mixer running and beat until well blended.
Turn off the mixer and add the milk, the lemon zest and mix manually with a spoon. - Add the wheat flour little by little and keep stirring the mixture by hand.
Put the baking soda and stir just to make the dough smooth and homogeneous.
Pour the dough into a greased and floured form. - Place the lemon cake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake for approximately 45 minutes, or until it is dry inside and lightly golden on the outside.
Carefully remove from oven and let cool. - To make the topping mix the condensed milk and the juice of 3 lemons very well in a bowl.
Pour the frosting over the cake, decorate with lemon zest to taste and the cake is ready to serve.
