“A brilliant mind is the most dangerous weapon”Apple TV+ tells us in the official trailer of the conspiracy thriller genre series, Prime Targetstarring Leo Woodall (The White Lotus, One Day) y Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets, In Treatment).
Woodall plays Edward Brook, a clever mathematics graduate student who discovers a breakthrough in the possibility of finding a pattern in prime numbers. If he succeeds, Edward will have the key to access all the computers in the world. When her idea catches the attention of dangerous enemies, they move to destroy it before it advances any further.
NSA agent Taylah Sanders (played by Swindell) has been tasked with observing and reporting on the behavior of mathematicians, but then the two join forces to unravel the government conspiracy that Edward unexpectedly finds himself at the center of.
The rest of the cast includes Stephen Rea (The Crying Game), David Morrissey (Sherwood), Martha Plimpton (The Regime), Sit Babett Knudsen (The castle), Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones), Ali Suliman (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), From Fairy (Rebel Moon) y Joseph Mydell (The Eternal Daughter).
Prime Target consists of 8 episodescreated and written by Steve Thompson (Sherlock, Vienna Blood). Brady Hood (Top Boy, Great Expectations) directs all eight episodes. Both are executive producers.

Apple TV+ premieres the first two episodes of Prime Target worldwide on January 22, 2025. The remaining episodes will be released weekly until the season finale airs on March 5.
