There’s something that Nicholas Cage can’t interpret? One of the few roles that the longtime actor had left to tackle was one of the monstrous universe of Universal Pictures.
Cage is playing Count Dracula in the horror comedy Renfieldcon Nicholas Hoult (The Menu, Mad Max: Fury Road) as the tortured helper of the narcissistic Prince of Darkness.
The marketing campaign continues with a new promotional clip that shows a funny scene in which Dracula arrives at Renfield’s support group, to introduce himself to its members.

The movie has its premiere scheduled for April 14, 2023 in the United States, and April 27 in Mexico and the rest of Latin America.
Chris McKay (The Tomorrow War, LEGO Batman Movie) directs the script of Ryan Ridley (Rick and Morty), based on an original idea by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead).
The titled in our market as, Renfield: Assistant de Vampirosis a “modern-time adventure with a comedic undertone,” offering a twist on the well-known story from Bram Stoker’s classic novel, with Renfield realizing that he is in a toxic relationship with Dracula, and needs to escape from it. Will he make it?
The cast is completed Awkwafina (The Farewell, Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings), Shohreh Aghdashloo (Star Trek Beyond, The Expanse), Ben Schwartz (Sonic, The Afterparty), y Adrian Martinez (Focus, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty).

“In this modern monster tale of Dracula’s loyal servant, Nicholas Hoult stars as Renfield, the tortured sidekick to history’s most narcissistic boss, Dracula (Oscar® winner Nicolas Cage). Renfield is forced to procure his master’s prey and follow his every command, no matter how demeaning. But now, after centuries of servitude, Renfield is ready to see if there is life outside the shadow of the Prince of Darkness. If only he could figure out how to end his codependency.”
The film is produced by Skybound Entertainment members Kirkman, David Alpert, Bryan Furst, and Sean Furst, and director McKay.
