Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • The same measure (of the can of condensed milk) as regular milk

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence (optional)

  • Ready-made caramel sauce (or make your own)

Directions

  • If you are using ready-made syrup, pour it into the bottom of a microwave-safe dish. Otherwise, make your own caramel sauce by placing 1 cup of sugar in a pan and melting over medium heat until golden. Be careful not to burn. Immediately pour into the pudding mold, spreading it over the surface.
  • In a blender, add the condensed milk, regular milk, eggs and vanilla essence (if using). Beat well until all ingredients are completely mixed.
  • Pour the pudding mixture over the syrup in the pan.
  • Cover the pan with parchment paper or a microwave-safe lid.
  • Cook in the microwave at full power for about 8 to 10 minutes. The time may vary depending on the power of your microwave, so keep an eye on it to prevent the pudding from becoming overcooked.
  • To check if it’s ready, insert a toothpick into the center of the pudding. If it comes out clean, it’s ready.
  • Let the pudding cool at room temperature for a few minutes.
  • Then, refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  • To unmold, run a knife along the edges of the pudding to loosen and turn onto a large plate.
