the filmmaker Mike Flanagan and the producer Trevor Macya duo that has established itself as a force in horror genre storytelling in recent years, They just signed a general and exclusive multi-year series deal with Amazon Studios. The contract comes after several years in which Flanagan and Macy worked closely with Netflix delivering projects like The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Massand more recently, The Mignight Club.
Flanagan and Macy move to Amazon Studios after the end of the contract with Netflix. The duo met with various studios and streamers, settling on Amazon Studios as their new home. The filmmaker and producer’s latest project with Netflix will be The Fall of the House of Ushera series based on the work of Edgar Allan Poe with a premiere scheduled for 2023.
According to reports from Deadline, Flanagan and Macy They will develop and produce projects through their Intrepid Pictures company., streaming exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.”
