Ingredients
2 tablespoons of melted butter
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 tablespoons wheat flour
A bit of salt
1 tbsp milk (or plant-based milk)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon chopped chocolate (optional)
Chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- Choose a mug large enough to contain the brownie batter.Â
This will prevent the dough from boiling over during baking. - Add melted butter to mug.
- Mix the sugar and cocoa powder in the mug with the butter.
- Add wheat flour and a pinch of salt.Â
Stir well until you get a homogeneous mixture. - Add the milk and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir again until everything is well incorporated.
- If desired, add chopped chocolate and nuts to the dough and mix.
- Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes.Â
The exact time may vary depending on the power of your microwave.Â
The brownie should be slightly damp when taken out of the microwave, as it will continue to cook slightly as it cools. - Let the brownie cool for a few minutes before eating.Â
It will get firmer as it cools. - You can eat the brownie straight from the mug or carefully unmold it onto a plate.
- If you want, you can add a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream or chocolate sauce on top to make it even more delicious.
