Netflix is preparing the limited mystery and suspense series, The Beast In Mefor which he has already made a new group of signings.
The newest members to join the cast are Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect), Natalie Morales (No Hard Feelings, Dead to Me), David Lyons (Truth Be Told) y Tim Guinee (Horizon: An American Saga), Deadline reported.
They are added to those previously announced, Claire Danes (Homeland) as protagonist and executive producer, and Matthew Rhys (The Americans).
In The Beast In Me:
“Since the tragic death of her young son, acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs (Danes) has retreated from public life, unable to write, a ghost of her former self. But he finds an unlikely subject for a new book when the house next door is bought by Nile Jarvis (Rhys), a famous and formidable real estate magnate who was once the prime suspect in his wife's disappearance.
“Both horrified and fascinated by this man, Aggie finds herself compulsively searching for the truth, chasing her demons while fleeing her own, in a game of cat and mouse that could turn deadly.”
The series is created and written by Gabe Rotterwho is also one of the executive producers.
Snow plays Nina, Nile's wife; Morales is Shelley, Aggie's ex-wife; Lyon is FBI agent Brian Abbott; and Guinee plays Wrecking Ball, an intimidating presence in Nile's life.
The roster of executive producers is luxury. In addition to Danes and Rotter, other executive producers are Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24, The X-Files), the director Antonio Camposthe screenwriter Daniel Pearle, Conan O’Brien, Jeff Ross, David Kissinger, Jodie Fostery Caroline Baron.
20th Television is the studio backing the project.
