The film universe Predatorhas a new delivery on the way, Predator: Badlandslaunched after the great success of Prey (2022), of the screenwriter and director Then Trachtenbergwho is back taking up both tasks in this new film in the horror and science fiction saga Predator.
Predator: Wild land It is set on an alien planet. Previously explained that It is not a direct sequel to Preybut a new story set in the future.
This is another solo movie about predators, this time starring Elle Fanning (A Complete Unknown, Maleficent, The Neon Demon) like Thia, an android whose origins connect it with another iconic saga of the study, Alien.
During his participation in Cinemacon, Fanning revealed that his character would team up with the predator, saying, “Something unprecedented happens in this movie, and my character is not persecuted. My character is allied with the predatorand you can see it from a new perspective. “
A new look shared by Empire Magazine, presents us with the protagonist predator, Dek (played by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), considered the “little girl of the litter,” explains Trachtenberg in the middle.
The filmmaker continues:

For Trachtenberg, the key was to get the public to support a protagonist like Dek:
“It seems a great idea, not only in predator, but in science fiction in general. In most science fiction universes, the 'creatures' are villains or companions.
