The comedy thriller Borderline presented three new looks at the protagonist, Samara Weaving (Ready Or Not, The Babysitter, Scream VI), which you find at the end of this note. The second image is one shared in September 2022.
Borderline is in charge of Jimmy Warden as a screenwriter and director, marking his debut behind the lens with this film. The script appeared on the famous Hollywood Black List, a highly regarded annual survey of the most liked scripts.
Warden wrote the script for the horror comedy Cocaine Bearand the slasher sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queenstarring Weaving, so Borderline marks another collaboration between them.
SYNOPSIS:
“The writer of Cocaine Bear is back with another twisted story. A star-obsessed sociopath and his fellow inmates escape from a mental institution and invade the home of their '90s pop superstar. He just wants to be loved; “She just wants to survive.”
Weaving plays the '90s pop superstar.
The actress is accompanied in the main cast by Eric Dane (Euphoria, Grey’s Anatomy), y Ray Nicholson (Something from Tiffany’s). The rest of the cast is made up Alba Baptista (Mrs Harris Goes to Paris) y Jimmie Fails (The Last Black Man in San Francisco).
Borderline is produced by Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara of LuckyChap Entertainment, Hadeel Reda of Red A Entertainment, and Brian Duffield.
The film has not set a theatrical release, although it is in the completed stage.
