We already have the first official trailer of the return of Nine Perfect Strangersthe original Hulu series, starring Nicole Kidmanwhich adapts the bestseller novel by Liane Moriarty.
In the second season, Kidman takes up his role as the enigmatic Masha Dmitichenko, a guru and director of a boutique health and well -being resort, which promises healing and transformation for his guests. The Russian expert in self -help revitalizes the inhabitants of the city to arrive looking for a better way of life.
But, How far is Masha ready to get to achieve this transformation? Masha's approach during the first season hit many, largely thanks to their microdosis without authorization of the guests. This time, their methods promise to climb new levels.
The new season is settled away from Cabrillo, California and opts for the icy mysteries of the Austrian Alps.
The cast welcomes Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians), Mark Strong (Kingsman), Lena i was (Upgraded), Annie Murphy (Sheep's Creek), Christine Baran (The Gilded Age), Lucas Englander (Transatlantic), Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus), Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Undeclared War) y Aras Aydin.
Official synopsis:
“Nine strangers, connected in imagined ways, are invited by the mysterious Guru Masha Dmitichenko (Nicole Kidman) to a retreat of transforming well -being in the Austrian Alps. For a week, she takes them to the limit. Will they achieve it? Will she achieve it? Masha is willing to try everything in order to heal all those involved, including herself.”
Kidman also assumes additional functions in the project, as an executive producer.
The series was created by David E. Kelley, who co-development with John-Henry Butterworth. Both wrote the scripts. Gillian Bohrer is the producer, with Kidman, Kelley, Bruna Papandrea, Molly Allen, Jonathan Levine, among the executive producers.
Television production was launched in August 2021 as a limited series, and became the Hulu original more watched in history (Drama, comedy, limited series or without script) On the day of its premiere and five days after availability at the streamer. After success, it was announced that it would leave behind the limited serial format/miniseries, and was renewed to a second season now in anthology format, with the return of Kidman in the main role.
The new season will debut on small screen almost four years after the first season.
