Universal Pictures not for the mysterious horror thriller marketing campaign Nopeand continues to give us material from which it is one of the most anticipated horror movies of 2022.
As announced, this week we would have a new trailer for the third feature film by the Oscar-winning filmmaker, Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us), which a few moments ago revealed the final trailer lasting 3 minutes.
But for those who like to keep the mystery, we have good news for you, since not even with this trailer we can accurately decipher Nope. In advance of the call for the studio’s marketing“a new pop nightmare”, and one “expansive horror epic”, something appears in the sky, everything seems to point to alien beings, but if we have learned anything from the two previous installments written and directed by Peele, Get Out y Usis that nothing is what it seems.
At the end of the note you will find the final trailer released for our market, along with the trailer released for the English-speaking market.
“Residents of a lonely inland California creek witness a strange and chilling discovery.”
Daniel Kaluuya (Judas and the Black Messiah, Get Out), y Keke Palmer (Hustlers) play two brothers who own a horse training ranch in the interior of California, where they will witness something completely unexpected and terrifying.
Palmer and Kaluuya are accompanied by Steve Yeun (Minari, The Walking Dead), Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria), Brandon Perea (The OA) y Michael Wincott (24: Live Another Day).
Peele directs, scripts and produces Nope. Ian Cooper accompanies him as a producer. Sara Scott, Tony Ducret supervise on behalf of Universal. Hoyte van Hoytema (Dunrkirk, Tenet, Interstellar, Her) is the director of photography. The cinematographer shot on 65mm for IMAX.
Nope is part of the exclusive five-year agreement, signed in October 2019 with Universal, with which Peele has committed to direct, write and produce two feature films for the studio with the support of his production company Monkeypaw Productions.
Do not forget: Nope will premiere in theaters via Universal Pictures on July 22, 2022.
