Last October, Hulu renewed the acclaimed series 'whoddunit' Only Murders in the Buildingfor a fourth season.

The most recent news from Deadline confirms the signing of Eugene Levy in recurring role. This will be her first television role since the conclusion of the acclaimed sitcom. Schitt's Creek. Levy is also recognized for his role as Noah Levenstein, Jim's father, in the film franchise American Pie.

The comedy-mystery 'whoddunit', created by Steve Martin y John Hoffmanfocuses on Charles, Oliver and Mabel (Steve Martin, Martin Short y Selena Gomez), true crime fans, whose enthusiasm is tested in the first season, when a resident of the Arconia building on the Upper West Side, where they live, ends up dead. With the motive and killer still unknown, they will have to work together to unravel the truth. Each season the trio investigates a new murder.

Levy joins Martin, Short and Gómez, the new additions for next season, Molly Shannon (A Good Person, Divorce) y Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), both in recurring roles, as well as the return of Meryl Streep.

This will mark a new collaboration between Levy and Short, who hail from the same Canadian city, got their start at SCTV, and have worked together on multiple occasions. Levy also had cameos in Father of the Bride, alongside Short and Martin.

For season four, all new characters will be integral to the twists and turns of the investigation into Sazz Pataki's murder (Jane Lynch), the double of Charles-Haden Savage (Martin) from his years in the Brazzos series and his revival in 2020.

In a recent interview, Craig Erwich, president of Disney Television Group, revealed that the leading trio will begin the new season with a trip to Los Angeles before returning to The Arconia in their search for Sazz's killer.

Martin, Hoffman, Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal are executive producers.

The series is broadcast in the United States by Hulu, while in Mexico and the rest of Latin America, it is available on Disney's Star Plus.
