Pacifica «With or without you» – no, this is not a cover version of the U2 classic. The Argentinian duo (by the way, this might be the first time that a band from Argentina has appeared in my blog) plays lively (indie) rock, which comes across as particularly melodic and atmospheric in this song. The two found each other via the Internet in 2021, they first published covers on YouTube and now they also have their own music.
Pet Shop Boys «The Lost Room» – this duo has been together for a year or two (decades) longer :-). I’ve been a fan from day one and I’m always happy when they release cool new songs again, like on their new EP “Lost”, which is very nostalgically reminiscent of the 80s.
