For your Pancake Dough to be very tasty, use the necessary ingredients and follow the step-by-step preparation instructions.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon powdered yeast

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegetable oil)

Directions

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat milk and egg until well combined.
  • Add the milk and egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir well until you get a homogeneous mass. 
    Make sure you don’t leave any dry lumps of flour.
  • Add the melted butter (or vegetable oil) to the dough and mix again until well incorporated.
  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. 
    If necessary, lightly grease the skillet with a little oil or butter.
  • Pour a small ladle of batter into the heated skillet. 
    Tilt the skillet to evenly spread the batter over the surface.
  • Cook the pancake for about 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to set and bubbles appear on the surface.
  • Carefully flip the pancake over using a spatula and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side, until golden brown.
  • Transfer the finished pancake to a plate and repeat the process with the rest of the batter, greasing the skillet again as needed.
  • Serve the pancakes hot with the filling of your choice, such as fruits, honey, chocolate, hazelnut cream or even snacks such as cheese and ham.
