Let’s make a Pinch Of Guava!

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cup wheat flour

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1/2 can of cream

  • 50 grams of butter or margarine

  • Guava in strips (amount to taste)

  • Sugar to taste for garnishing (optional)

Directions

  • Add the cream, sugar, butter or margarine to a bowl and mix well.
  • Add the wheat flour and mix well with your hands until smooth and easy to disassemble.
  • Put the dough in a culinary bag and leave it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  • Open the dough inside the plastic with a rolling pin so that it is neither too thick nor too thin.
  • Cut portions of the dough in a circular shape using a cutter or glass.
  • Place a strip of guava jam in the middle of each dough, close the pinches by pressing the edges and place them side by side on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Dip the cookies in sugar and the guava jams are ready to serve.
