Ingredients

  • 500g wheat flour

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

  • 7g dry yeast (or 15g fresh yeast)

  • 300ml of warm water

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Directions

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt and sugar.
  • In a cup, dissolve yeast in warm water. 
    If using fresh yeast, crumble it into warm water and stir until dissolved.
  • Pour the yeast mixture into the bowl with the flour and add the oil.
  • Mix well until the dough begins to form.
  • Transfer the dough to a clean, lightly floured surface.
  • Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, or until it is soft, elastic and smooth.
  • Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a damp cloth. 
    Let rest in a warm place for approximately 1 hour, or until the dough has doubled in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • After resting, divide the dough into portions depending on the size of the pizzas you want to make.
  • Open each portion of dough with a rolling pin on a floured surface until you get the desired thickness.
  • Place the doughs on lightly greased baking sheets or pizza pans.
  • Now, you can add the tomato sauce and the ingredients of your choice to assemble the pizza.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes and enjoy your delicious homemade pizza!
