Ingredients
500g wheat flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
7g dry yeast (or 15g fresh yeast)
300ml of warm water
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt and sugar.
- In a cup, dissolve yeast in warm water.Â
If using fresh yeast, crumble it into warm water and stir until dissolved. - Pour the yeast mixture into the bowl with the flour and add the oil.
- Mix well until the dough begins to form.
- Transfer the dough to a clean, lightly floured surface.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, or until it is soft, elastic and smooth.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a damp cloth.Â
Let rest in a warm place for approximately 1 hour, or until the dough has doubled in size. - Preheat the oven to 220°C.
- After resting, divide the dough into portions depending on the size of the pizzas you want to make.
- Open each portion of dough with a rolling pin on a floured surface until you get the desired thickness.
- Place the doughs on lightly greased baking sheets or pizza pans.
- Now, you can add the tomato sauce and the ingredients of your choice to assemble the pizza.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes and enjoy your delicious homemade pizza!
