After the great success of Prey (2022), to the saga Predator (o Predator) de 20th Century Studios, will expand the universe giving the green light to Badlandsanother solo film about the Predators, which will feature the return of Then Trachtenberg (Prey, 10 Cloverfield Lane) as screenwriter and director.
According to Deadline reports, Trachtenberg is on board the project as writer and director. The media also explains:
“The film is a high priority for the studio and sources say Trachtenberg and executives are already meeting with talent for the lead role.. Release plans are not known. A theatrical release is not ruled out.”

Trachtenberg wrote the history of Badlands next to Patrick Aison (Prey), with the latter writing the script. The project is in an advanced stage, so Filming is planned to start in July.
