CONTENT WARNING: This is the RED BAND TRAILER of Ice Cream Man.
The filmmaker Eli Rothknown for projects such as Cabin Fever, Hostel, The Green Inferno, y Thanksgivingreturns this year with a new slasher horror film project, Ice Cream Man.
Studiocanal presented the official trailer for the slasher, ahead of its theatrical release scheduled for August.
The horror film, co-written and directed by Roth, revolves around ice cream vendor Ice Cream Man, played by Ari Millen (Orphan Black, Undertone), who delivers ice cream to Bayleen Bay's children, who later become deranged killers.
The preview shows a group of children plunged into madness after buying ice cream. In one scene, they are seen stalking sleeping parents, making snow angels in a pool of blood, and holding a woman down while one of them stabs her in the stomach with an ax.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“Ice Cream Man follows an idyllic summer town that descends into madness when an ice cream man serves children sweet treats with horrible results.”
In addition to Millen, the cast includes Byron Davis (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Karen Cliche (Thanksgiving), Dylan Hawco (Heartland), Sarah Abbott (Black Mirror), Shiloh O’Reilly (Thanksgiving), Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer (The Handmaid’s Tale), y Charlie Storey (Thanksgiving).
Roth co-wrote the script with Noah Belson (The Rotten Fruit), based on “an original idea I'd had for over twenty years, but the studios were too nervous to finance it”, the filmmaker previously explained.
In an interview with Variety in 2025, Roth stated about his most recent project:
“I've been thinking about this idea for a long time, but the studios were afraid of my first drafts. Now is the time to go further than ever with what I think will be my scariest and most outlandish movie to date. Movies like 'Ice Cream Man' are the reason we create The Horror Section: to make uncensored and transgressive film events that horror fans can look back on for years. “I am very lucky to have such fantastic partners as MCT and of course all of The Horror Section's investors.”
The plans are that Ice Cream Man usher in a next great horror franchise.
Media Capital Technologies (MCT) produce junto a Cream Productions.
Eli Roth, Christopher Woodrwod, Raj Singh and Kate Harrison Karman are producing, with Kevin Frakes, Connor DiGregorio, Eli Massilllon, Lorenzo Antonucci, Jon Schnaars and Holly Adams serving as executive producers.
Brandon Roberts composes the soundtrack, with Snoop Dogg in charge of additional music.
