Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil or oil

  • 3 minced garlic cloves

  • 1 kg of meat, cut into cubes (Pallet, soft coxão, chuck steak, muscle…)

  • 2 level teaspoons paprika (optional)

  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin

  • 3 level teaspoons of salt

  • 1 cup of tomato sauce (240 ml)

  • 1 cup of water (240ml)

  • 1 medium tomato cut into cubes

  • 1 medium bell pepper cut into cubes

  • Coriander or chopped parsley to taste

  • 4 medium potatoes cut

  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper (to taste)

Directions

  • In a pressure cooker, add 1 medium chopped onion;
  • Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil or oil;
  • Place over medium heat and stir until the onion is golden;
  • Add 3 crushed garlic cloves and mix until golden;
  • Add 1 kg of meat cut into cubes (Palette, soft coxão, chuck steak, muscle…);
  • Mix and sauté a little;
  • Add 2 level teaspoons of paprika (optional);
  • Add 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika;
  • Add ½ level teaspoon of cumin;
  • Add 3 level teaspoons of salt;
  • Mix and sauté for 2 minutes;
  • Add 1 cup of tomato sauce (240ml);
  • Add 1 cup of water (240ml);
  • Add 1 medium tomato cut into cubes;
  • Add 1 medium bell pepper cut into cubes;
  • Cover and leave on medium heat until you get pressure and count 20 minutes;
  • Mix;
  • Add cilantro or chopped parsley to taste;
  • Mix;
  • Add 4 medium potatoes cut;
  • Mix;
  • Cover and leave on medium heat for 10 minutes;
  • Your pot roast with potatoes is ready!
