Ingredients
1 medium onion chopped
3 tablespoons of olive oil or oil
3 minced garlic cloves
1 kg of meat, cut into cubes (Pallet, soft coxão, chuck steak, muscle…)
2 level teaspoons paprika (optional)
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
½ teaspoon ground cumin
3 level teaspoons of salt
1 cup of tomato sauce (240 ml)
1 cup of water (240ml)
1 medium tomato cut into cubes
1 medium bell pepper cut into cubes
Coriander or chopped parsley to taste
4 medium potatoes cut
½ teaspoon of black pepper (to taste)
Directions
- In a pressure cooker, add 1 medium chopped onion;
- Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil or oil;
- Place over medium heat and stir until the onion is golden;
- Add 3 crushed garlic cloves and mix until golden;
- Add 1 kg of meat cut into cubes (Palette, soft coxão, chuck steak, muscle…);
- Mix and sauté a little;
- Add 2 level teaspoons of paprika (optional);
- Add 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika;
- Add ½ level teaspoon of cumin;
- Add 3 level teaspoons of salt;
- Mix and sauté for 2 minutes;
- Add 1 cup of tomato sauce (240ml);
- Add 1 cup of water (240ml);
- Add 1 medium tomato cut into cubes;
- Add 1 medium bell pepper cut into cubes;
- Cover and leave on medium heat until you get pressure and count 20 minutes;
- Mix;
- Add cilantro or chopped parsley to taste;
- Mix;
- Add 4 medium potatoes cut;
- Mix;
- Cover and leave on medium heat for 10 minutes;
- Your pot roast with potatoes is ready!
