The filmmaker Bong Joon Ho returns to the big screen with the sci-fi thriller Mickey 17after the overwhelming and historic success of the acclaimed Parasite (2019).
In Mickey 17, Robert Pattinson (The Batman, Tenet) plays the lead role as Mickey, an Expendable: a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the frozen world of Niflheim. Whenever a mission is too dangerous, even suicidal, the crew turns to Mickey. After an iteration dies, a new body regenerates with most of its memories intact.

Steve Yeun (Nope, Beef), Toni Collette (Hereditary), Mark Ruffalo (Poor Things) y Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice) make up the rest of the main cast.

The film is based on the novel Mickey 7 de Edward Ashton. Bong is the director, producer and screenwriter.

the movie premieres in Latin American theaters on January 30, 2025. It is released in theaters in the United States on January 31.
