Ryan Gosling in Teaser poster of 'Project Hail Mary'; The trailer will be released next week

Ryan Gosling He prepares for another adventure in space with the feature film Project Hail Marywhich debuted a first Official poster teaserfacing the launch of the official trailer on Monday, June 30, 2025.

The dystopian science fiction project of Amazon MGM Studios, is led by Phil Lord y Christopher Miller (The LEGO Moviefranchise 21 Jump Street), with script written by Drew Goddard (The Martian, Cabin in the Woods, Daredevil, World War Z), adapted from the homonymous novel of Andy Weir.

Goddard previously adapted another Weir novel for cinema, The Martian (2015), which became a complete success for all involved in the project.

Official synopsis:

“The science professor Ryland Grace (Gosling) wakes up in a spacecraft light years of his home without remembering who he is or how he got there. When recovering his memory, he begins to discover his mission: solve the enigma of the mysterious substance that causes the extinction of the Sun. He must resort to his scientific knowledge and unconventional ideas to save the earth from extinction … but an unexpected friendship will not allow him to do not have to do so.

The plot is set in the near future.

The rest of the main cast includes Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall), Lionel Boyce (The Bear), Ken Leung (Joker: Folia two, Lost), Liz Kingsman (F1), y Milana Vayntrub (Monsters, This Is Us).

The producers are Miller, Lord, Weir, Gosling, Amy Pascal, Aditya Sood and Rachel O'Connor. Goddard is the executive producer with Patricia Whitcher, Sarah Esberg, Lucy Kita, Nikki Baida, and Ken Kao.
