Universal Pictures is currently filming Jurassic World Rebirtha new installment of the franchise Jurassic Worldlaunched last January conceived as a reboot with Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Endgame) in a leading role.
The project will mark “a new Jurassic era”, with a completely new storycounting on Gareth Edwards (The Creator, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Godzilla) as director of the script written by David Kopp (Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: The Lost World).
Vanity Fair and Empire Magazine shared new official looks at Johansson in action. The first of them from a behind-the-scenes perspective during the filming of a scene, and the other two are from Empire magazine, which dedicates an entire page to these newly released glimpses of the actress in the film.
Jurassic World Rebirth It takes place five years after the events of Jurassic World: Dominion (2022).
Regarding Johansson's role, Universal Pictures previously revealed:
“Scarlett Johansson plays Zora Bennett and leads a team searching for genetic material from three giant dinosaurs. The actress is accompanied in the main cast by Jonathan Bailey (The Travelers, Bridgerton), the Mexican Manuel García-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Rupert Friend (Asteroid City, Obi-Wan Kenobi), and the Oscar winner, Mahershala Ali (Moonlight, Leave the World Behind).
Philippine Select (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF) y Ed Skrein (Deadpool), Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty) y Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs. Lopez) make up the supporting cast.

Ali plays Zora's partner, Duncan Kincaid; Bailey plays a paleontologist named Dr. Henry Loomis; and Friend plays Martin Krebs, the representative of the pharmaceutical conglomerate financing the expedition. García-Rulfo plays Reuben Delgado, the father of the shipwrecked family, which includes Blaise, Iacono and Miranda.
The reboot marks a new era, and as such, it does not feature the return of cast members from Jurassic World y Jurassic Park:
