Ingredients

  • 1 kg of potatoes

  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)

  • 3 tablespoons of butter (60g)

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil or oil

  • 1 small onion, diced (115g)

  • 2 crushed garlic cloves

  • 1 tablespoon cilantro or chopped parsley

  • black pepper (to taste)

  • 1/2 cup whole milk (120ml)

Directions

  • In a pan, add 1 kg of potatoes, peeled and cut in half;
  • Add water to cover the potatoes;
  • Add 1 teaspoon of salt (to taste);
  • Cook over medium heat until the potato is well cooked and soft;
  • Drain the water;
  • Mash the potatoes with a fork or masher;
  • In a pan, add 1 tsp of olive oil or oil;
  • Add 1 small onion cut into cubes (115g);
  • Let it fry a little;
  • Add 2 crushed garlic cloves;
  • Mix and fry the garlic a little;
  • Add the mashed potato;
  • Add 1/2 cup of whole milk (120ml);
  • Add 3 tablespoons of butter (60g);
  • Mix well;
  • Add black pepper to taste;
