'Send Help' – Rachel Mcadams and Dylan O'Brien star

The filmmaker Sam Raimi (Evil Dead) He is preparing his return to horror movies, with the project announced in the summer of 2024, Send Helpwhich has just made the signings of protagonist roles.

According to Deadline reports, Dylan O’Brien adds to the previously announced Rachel McAdamsto head the cast of the survival horror thriller.

Mcadams previously collaborated with Raimi in the MCU movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse.

“The film is a horror and survival thriller over two colleagues (O'Brien and Mcadams) that are stranded on a desert island, the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it is a battle of wills and ingenuity to leave alive. ”

The project is described as something between Misery of Rob Reiner, and Castaway by Robert Zemeckis.

The script was written by Damian Shannon y Mark Swiftco -operation of Freddy vs. Jason (2003), the reboot Friday the 13th (2009), and the reboot of Baywatch (2017).

Raimi will produce the feature film with Zainab Azizi by Raimi Productions.

Raimi's credits as director include Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessthe trilogy Spider-Man, Drag Me To Hell, Oz the Great and Powerfuland of course, the original delivery of Evil Dead.
