SHERBETS «Unknown road (Shiranai michi)» – this Japanese band has been active for 25 years, but I just got to know them with their new single. The track is really great – it starts off a bit muted but then just builds in intensity and the equally atmospheric and driving guitars make this one of my hits of the year. The new EP «Midnight Chocolate» has just been released.
Garbage «Cities in Dust» – oh wow, that’s a really unexpected cover version. The original Siouxsie & the Banshees is given a more modern guise here with Garbage. By the way, the entire «Witness To Your Love» EP this song is taken from is great.
