“The end of the world had a beginning.”
Apple TV debuted on full trailer of the third season from his science fiction series Silostarring Rebecca Ferguson.
The plot, based on the best-selling novels by Hugh Howey (Wool, Shift, Dust), focuses on an intense search for truth in a post-apocalyptic setting, portraying a drama about class and survival in an inhospitable world.
And, during its first two seasons, Silo He treated the truth of the place as the best kept secret, although the third season will arrive ready to reveal everything. The creator's dystopian drama Graham Yost (Band of Brothers), will not only address the consequences of the rebellion within the silo seen in the second season, but finally delves into the hidden history that made the nightmare possible.
Ferguson returns as Juliette Nichols, a female engineer who began her journey searching for answers about the death of a loved one that led her to uncover a mystery beyond anything she could have imagined. In the third season, Silo picks up the story after its forced “cleansing” which Juliette survives, but returns with amnesia, while the silo struggles to recover from the riot and faces a new threat. That alone would be enough to maintain the tension, but The third season considerably expands the panorama. The most significant change lies in the premise.
The plot will delve into the “Previous Times”, going back centuries in timewhen journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick), and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman), they begin to uncover a conspiracy that sets off a series of catastrophic events. For a series that spent two seasons making secrecy its essence, this turn toward origins feels like the next logical step: It's less about who controls the silo now and more about who built the control machinery in the first place.
The cast features the returns of Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomezy Steve Zahn.
New additions for season three include Laura Innes (IS), Jessica Brown Findlay (Mother Mary), Morven Christie (The Bay), Reed Birney (The Menu, House of Cards), y Matt Craven (The Last Thing He Told Me), con Colin Hanks (Nuremberg) in a recurring role.
