Hélène SIO “the one I believe” – As is well known, French music has been one of my soft spot for ages. And especially in recent years, a large number of singers from our western neighboring country come, which bring an interesting mixing from Chanson, 80s and new pop – from Zaho de Sagazan to Adèle Castillon. Hélène Sio from Narbonne is still quite unknown, whose French pop is often really snappy and funny and is a lot of fun. She has just released her new EP “Les Ratures”, whose highlight for me is the single “Celle Que je crois”.
lasah “prayer” – completely different and much less digestible is what the Japanese jazz singer Lasah does. She often works with vocaloid producers, like here with Lemm. The result is a pleasantly absorbed, cool and difficult -to -class music. The song comes from the album “Dead-End Apartment” from 2019 and should be classified as slightly experimentally. 🙂 I really like such sounds.
