Netflix revealed the official trailer of his new miniseries The Beast In Mebacked by the team behind the acclaimed Homelandrepeating in the main role Claire Danes.
Danes plays Aggie Wiggs, an acclaimed author removed from the public eye since the tragic death of her young son. Matthew Rhys (The Americans) accompanies him in the leading role, playing Nile Jarvis, a famous real estate magnate and the main suspect in the disappearance of his wife.
Brittany Snow (The Hunting Wives) y Natalie Morales (Grey’s Anatomy) are other members of the main cast, with guest stars Jonathan Banks (Better Call Saul), David Lyons (Truth Be Told), Tim Guinee (The Staircase), Hettienne Park (Black Rabbit), Deidre O’Connell (The Penguin), Aleyse Shannon, Will Brill (The OA), Kate Burton (Grey’s Anatomy), Bill Irwin (Rustin), Amir Arison (The Dropout), y Julie Ann Emery (Better Call Saul).
The title of the limited series is due to a song by Johnny Cash.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“In The beast in mesince the tragic death of her young son, acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs (Danes) has retreated from public life, unable to write, a ghost of her former self. But he finds an unexpected subject for a new book when the house next door is purchased by Nile Jarvis (Rhys), a famous and formidable real estate magnate who was once the prime suspect in his wife's disappearance.
Both horrified and fascinated by this man, Aggie finds herself on a compulsive search for the truth, chasing her demons while fleeing her own, in a game of cat and mouse that could turn deadly.
Howard Gordon (Homeland, The X-Files) is the showrunner and screenwriter, and Gabe Rotter (The X-Files) the creator and screenwriter of The Beast In Me.

Gordon shared with Tudum the following about the premise of the show:
“Whether it's Monica Lewinsky, Amanda Knox, Nile Jarvis or whoever, sometimes we're quick to make assumptions. But when we're forced to look at it from another angle, do we have the humility and compassion to listen and revise the narrative?”
Antonio Campos (The Staircase, The Sinner) is the director and executive producer. 20th Television is the studio.
Danes is executive producer alongside Campos, Rotter, Gordon, Jodie FosterDaniel Pearle, Conan O'Brien, Jeff Ross, David Kissinger, and Caroline Baron.
