Marvel Studios presented a few moments ago the first trailer for The Marvelssequel to Captain Marvel (2019) which has the return of Brie Larson like the superheroine/Carol Danvers.

In the 33rd MCU film, Larson is accompanied by Teyonah Parris like Monica Rambeau, a character we met in the series WandaVisione Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan from the series Ms. Marvel. In the preview we see them integrate as a team under the hand of Nick Fury from Samuel L. Jackson. Also, the trio teleport to each other’s locations, with Rambeau saying, “Our powers are tangled.”

The plot starts after the events shown in the post-credits scene of the series. Ms. Marvel.

Nia DaCosta (Candyman) directs the feature film written by Roy Thomas.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:

“Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and exacted her revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences leave Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.”

When her duties send her into an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with those of Jersey City superfan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now an astronaut from SABER, Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must unite and learn to work together to save the universe as ‘The Marvels.'”

Larson spoke to Good Morning America about her return as Captain Marvel:

The first was the origin story of who she is. She now she is delving into some of the complexities. That there is much more to her than that, that there are parts that are not so good about her. That we can see a hero as a person who doesn’t make all the right decisions all the time.”

The Marvels has fixed his theatrical release for November 10, 2023 and preview on November 9.
